Jenna

The customer I have been pursuing thus far is a student at a university, Let’s call her Jenna. She likes to drink wine coolers with her friends, goes to a spin class on Tuesdays at 8:00 P.M., and frequents White Buffalo. She usually takes the bus to class to save money on gas, but she drives a red Chevy Cruze. Her favorite TV show is SNL and she watches it every Sunday on Hulu because she doesn’t pay for cable. She doesn’t have any children but she has a little sister that is basically her daughter when she’s back home. Jenna loves to read murder mysteries/romances by Agatha Christie and Mary Higgins Clark. She never really concerned herself with politics until she got to college because the people around her were never really interested and she wasn’t old enough to vote. She turned 18 in May, right before getting to school, but sometimes she feels naive and lost like if she was still 12.

I understand what Jenna is feeling in terms of naivety and youth, I often feel like a child because I am the youngest of my group of friends. I based this avatar off of a lot of my friends and myself, and this is no coincidence. I filled the need that I and so many people I know have on a regular basis.

  1. Jessica,
I can imagine it was hard to explain your avatar, because of how broad of a customer base an indoor GPS is. But you did a great job with the details. I can relate to Jenna in the way that I too don’t have children, but I go back home and my sister is like a daughter. I have many friends that sound like Jenna.
