Final Reflection
This semester has been very trying, through both friend and family issues and drama. I think the most formative experience I had this semester was right at the beginning, a very close family friend passed away while we were dealing with other family health issues. As all this was going on I did have some roommate issues which made coming back to Gainesville all that much more difficult. I’ve spent a lot of time going back and forth between Miami and Gainesville to spend time and help out with my family, while also dealing with potentially deciding on staying or leaving UF. My most joyous and proudest experience has been the grades I’ve been getting, this is my first semester at UG where i’ll be ending with straight A’s!
I think i definitely do have more of a more entrepreneurial mindset, I now look at all parts of an issue and have a much more logistical perspective on ideas and potential ventures.
The one recommendation I’d make to other students is to make sure you stay on top of your blog posts and any other assignments! I thought taking all online classes would be difficult to keep up with, but it has instead made me better at doing homework and studying on time! I think you need to get on the “let’s get this bread mindset” and just push yourself to be the absolute best you can be and constantly remind yourself that you’re soing great.

Jessica,
ReplyDeleteThe picture you chose is funny but also to the point :) I can relate to family medical issues, and I know that delegating school and having a huge weight on your shoulders makes everything much more difficult, especially at UF, but I admire that you’re going to end up with straight A’s. It’s not easy but it’ll be worth it, keep up the good work!
Hey Jessica,
ReplyDeleteAwesome job on the straight A's, especially from what you had described with many of the more personal things that happened this semester. Hopefully you earned a rest period before classes start up again.
